National Projects
A national project derives from a formal request for cooperation by a Member State through a "TC Project Concept form". The concept is appraised according to the standards set out in the TC Operations Manual, and implemented following approval by the Board of Governors. Such a project forms part of the Member State's Country Programme with the Agency.
The IAEA also acts as executing or implementing agency for the UN System for projects that fall within the sphere of the Agency's competence.
