RAF/6/040 (AFRA): Applying Molecular Techniques to Interventions Against the Major Poverty Related Diseases (HIV, TB and Malaria) for Improving Disease Control
The purpose of the Meeting:
· to set up Implementation strategy for the project.
· to define the workplan for national and regional activities.
· to finalize a project protocol and workplan
Participants’ qualifications: The participants should be the officially designated national project counterparts within the AFRA region under IAEA project RAF6040.
The following minimal requirements will be expected and countries wishing to participate should comply with these:
The participants should be medical laboratory scientists, with proven technical expertise in the use of molecular biology techniques for communicable diseases.
