Ms. Margaret Mashinkila is a national of Zambia. She obtained a postgraduate degree in development studies from the Cambridge University in UK and from the University of Zambia, in Lusaka, Zambia.
Ms. Mashinkila worked for over twenty years in the field of socio-economic programming in Africa. She held various senior positions in International Organisations including, World Bank, UNHCR, IFAD/WFP, and IMF.
Before joining the Agency in March 2009, for the past three years Ms. Mashinkila was serving as Senior Task Manager for Gender, Climate Change and Sustainable Development at African Development Bank in Tunis, Tunisia.
Ms. Mashinkila is responsible for the overall management and implementation of TC projects in Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi and Seychelles. She is also responsible for three regional projects on Environmental Management (AFRA), water resources management, and one International project on the Environment (Radioecology).
