Next steps in the preparation of the IAEA 2009-2011 TC programme
Counterparts in Member States have the opportunity to design their projects, based on the pre-qualified project concepts. The project design components include background information to the project and a Logical Framework Matrix (LFM) for the project. Please follow Guidelines for the Design of the IAEA 2009-2011 TC programme carefully in designing your projects. There are several documents under the ‘Help’ tab of the PCMF web site to provide support on all aspects of the design process.
The draft project designs should be completed and submitted to the Secretariat by 15 March 2008. The Secretariat requests the cooperation of Member States in meeting the submission deadline so that the preparations for the 2009-2011 TC programme can be made in a timely manner.
Once Member States have completed their draft project designs they will be able to work with the Secretariat to finalize and agree on all the design components. The finalized project designs will be reviewed by the Secretariat, and compiled into draft Member State programmes, which will be shared for final adjustments during the 52nd session of the IAEA General Conference from 29 September to 3 October 2008.
